Similar to the last idea.
Middle-aged man (perhaps the young man referenced before) realizes he has been struggling for years to make his life something it was never destined to be. What he thought he was and was waiting to become is not what the universe intended. He isn’t who he thought. Does he succumb to become the things he hates? Does he continue to fight fate?
